The approved plan

A boutique approved precinct in an established prestige suburb.

Somerton Road is a council-led plan. Hume Amendment C274 was exhibited in 2024, heard by panel in January 2025, adopted by Council on 26 May 2025 and approved on 1 October 2025, when it was incorporated into the Hume Planning Scheme.

The result is a small, carefully staged addition of around 250 homes on the edge of one of the north-west's most established suburbs, with existing shops, schools, parkland and freeway access already in place.
